01 Sep Siviero launches CD and DVD live recorded on tour in Spain
Directly from the Teatro Monumental, in Madrid, the Piano Concerto n.5 Op.73, by Beethoven, is the new release on CD and DVD of the pianist.
The partnership between the pianist Alvaro Siviero and the Orquesta Académica de Madrid is only starting. After a successful tour in 2012, with Schumann Piano Concerto, arrives to the public the result of the successful tour held in various cities in Spain, in early 2013. This time, another German composer was interpreted: Ludwig van Beethoven.
The Piano Concerto n.5, known as ” Emperor “, is the last of piano concertos written by the German master, between 1809 and 1811, in Vienna, which had its debut in the famous Gewandhaus concert hall in Leipzig, with Friedrich Schneider as soloist. The debut in Vienna had as soloist one of Beethoven’s closest student: Carl Czerny.
The concerto , full of vigor and elegance, finds in the interpretation of Siviero and the conductor Iñigo Pirfano the pulse that attacks between precision sound allied to the refinement of one of the most popular work fo the piano concerto repertoire.
